Storytelling:
It’s about creating persuasive frames for communication, where
people start thinking in ways you want them to think. It’s about creating metaphors which bypass the conscious
mind.
It’s about making people think, what you want them to do was their own idea in the
first place.
Let me explain...with a
story...

Once upon a time, there lived a
CEO…
The
CEO wanted to turn around a company. He had a great vision but no one in the company could understand his vision.
He was totally disappointed.
So he traveled a thousand miles and went to a guru. The CEO commissioned an artist to
convert his vision and mission statement into beautiful posters. He himself worked on power point presentations. He
wanted to share every single detail with the guru.
But alas!
As soon as he entered the guru’s hut another disappointment took him over. The guru
was blind!
He turned around to go back, when the guru called him,
“Dear friend, come in! I was waiting for you!”
The manager was amazed for a while. The Guru said,
“People who don’t have eyes can see through there hearts. Come close to me, I can
help you get what you want.”
The CEO opened his heart to the guru now,
“People think CEO’s job is to give orders and people would follow. But it’s not that
easy. Their tongues say yes, but their eyes say no!”
The guru smiled, and gave him a little box. He told him to open it only when he
reaches his office the next day.
The CEO couldn’t sleep the whole night. He opened the box in his office and there was
nothing in the box but a pinch of salt.
He was puzzled. Could this be a solution to his gigantic problem?
Then he discovered a slot in the box. There was a little paper note that
read:
“If you drag the horse to water it will resist. Put a little salt on his tongue and
it will run to the stream!”
Persuasive storytelling workshop is all about “putting a little salt on the
